Why are you bothered by that, Mitas?
Because I don't like it when people express opinions as if they are the be all, end all, only way to do things. There's a difference between saying 'I don't like this' or 'I like this' compared to 'I don't like this and it should be stopped and replaced by the thing I like'.
It doesn't help if you argue while having no experience with american schools and how kids act within them. You know, understanding why someone would have the opinion that you don't like.

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

I didn't say I don't like your opinion. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I said I take issue with the way you're presenting your opinion.

"Course. Doing better next time. That's what life is."

My argument was made in response to someone saying they should cut the AC class, I argued why doing so was not only wrong, but why if a cut were to be made, it'd be better for PE to be the class.

Someone brought up being too shy so yeah, I definitely had that beginning of junior year unfortunately. I got to know a lot of kids AFTER I left that school, funnily enough.

Unrelated to regrets, but I had a doctor (who turned out to be out of her mind but my mum knew the second the words left the doctors mouth) who said "You're too skinny." And when I told her I exercised, she flipped out on me and told me I had to stop. So I could've actually gotten out of PE if I really wanted to, but I didn't. I went to another doctor who said I was fine, just on the thinner scale of average for my age group.

PE is one of my least favorite subjects and even though I always try to participate and not let my team down I'm never good enough to them. I wish it wasn't forced upon me.

PhysEd at my high school was a joke, but a highly entertaining one. It was basically a free hour doing whatever you wanted so long as you weren't sleeping. That's why it was the hardest class to get into, and I only ever had it once because it was required and I couldn't get in otherwise.

My only regret is not starting my lifting lifestyle back then when I had all the time in the world to devote myself to it. My senior year was so lax I could've probably spent 70% of my day at the gym consistently throughout the year. I would've been so jacked by this point...

It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

I was the one kid who never looked forward to P.E. Because of crazy serious bullying as I grew up and in Middle School, where it got physical; I had a terrible body image. I had a big ego and plenty of self esteem but a poor body image and felt forced to do it. I usually changed in the back of the locker room and was passive in sports. This got better as I got older until I was almost insane and smashed a guy with Downs Syndrome in the face with a hockey stick. But I preferred some of the other classes my school offered, like Outdoor Ed and what you guys are calling "Athletic Conditioning". In the AC class I could use the treadmill for 25 minutes and lift for 20 or just run for 45 minutes. As long as you put effort into something tangible, you got a good grade.

In Outdoor Ed, we used tree branches, snow, and other things to create forts. Make projects. Make snow forts. Lots of different things. Took me awhile to get into it but I really got into building the wooden fort.

Now this is a story I wanna hear.

But related to the OP. Having someone recently graduated from High School, I guess my regrets are not getting involved more with school events or hanging out with friends. Though this slowly changed by Junior year.

Don't really. Never wanted to make friends with most of the people there and wouldn't again if I was sent back in time.

I guess the only thing I would do is motivate my past self to get better grades in school and not take everything for granted.

What will you do when you get old?

I used to fight a lot in high school. Mostly because I or people like me were picked on because of our race. For a while I'd get my a*** kicked but every fight I learned some new tricks to win. Now I'm a pretty good fighter, wouldn't say the best but I can handle myself in a fight with 2 or 3 people assuming they don't pull any underhanded tricks or use weapons. I had some aggression problems in school too, so that didn't help much with staying out of fights.

Anyway in High School I mistakenly started a fight with the wrong guy for hitting my then girlfriend and now the guy walks with a limp and will for the rest of his life. I still train to fight as part of my daily workout routine but that was the last fight I involved myself with. I am honestly surprised the guys parents didn't sue mine or that they didn't get the police involved and I become a criminal. The guy did have it coming, he bullied a lot of people in school, but it turns out he didn't hit my then girlfriend and that it was actually her father who hit her and she lied about it.

I guess what I'm trying to say is I regret permanently ruining that guys ankle for doing nothing to me. I also regret not doing something about my then girlfriends father beating on her. From what I hear at 18 she left for California, but I've not heard about her since.
